PHOENIX AGAINST DRAGON Evolutions regarding the new international order from the perspective of the paradigm ”America first” (”New Century American”) versus ”Dragon Age”

Summary/Abstract: The present material is an attempt to present, in our opinion, the defining elements of the so-called MAGA-AF doctrine, issued by the Trump administration and which represent a defining stage, of profound reform both in terms of the US, its place in the world. , as well as the modeling of the international system according to these elements. We will briefly refer to China’s strategic elements in the second century. XXI for the implementation of an own project of globality (which we identify under the conventional name of the „Dragon’s Century” or the century of Chinese globalization) and which is quite ignored in the analyzes of the experts of international relations, preferring rather dull approaches over the international system, despite the obvious and profound changes that are taking place in it today. Sec. XXI can also be seen as a century of ideological, commercial, political confrontation between two blocks with two mega-powers at the center (a socialist bloc, dominated by China and formed in an economic sense based on the OBOR - but without excluding a compatibility or a sympathy, an ideological opening to China’s socialism) - and a US-dominated, neo-westphalian sovereignty bloc that proposes a firm ideological vision to combat both socialism, any ideology of weakening the nation-state (progressive, neo-progressive) -Marxism, ultra-liberalism, etc., but also a doctrine to support nationalism (the pre-eminence of the nation-state doctrine) under the MAGA-AF paradigm. Both doctrines propose a type of pre-eminence: either assume Chinese globalization under a socialist flag; or the return to an international system of nation-states and the rejection of Marxist, socialist globalism. This confrontation (Second Cold War) has already begun and we would be wrong to say that it is just an economic confrontation between two mega-powers. It is a confrontation to define a pattern of the 21st century either of socialist or Marxist type (because we have an already identifiable hegemon, China, which is a communist power) or a nationalist type of right (because we have MAGA-AF which is clearly a nationalist, expansionist, but not leftist doctrine).
