Summary/Abstract: The article is a critical review of Joanne Morra’s work entitled Inside the Freud Museums: History, Memory and Site-Responsive Art. The author concentrates on a question how the psychoanalytic theory can be used within visual culture studies. The text also addresses the issue of a possibility to reread psychoanalysis in the light of various contemporary artistic practices.
