The assessment of the attractiveness of the park im. prof. Wanica in Olsztyn

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of this article was to carry out the assessment of the attractiveness of the space of the Park of Prof. Wanica in Olsztyn using indicators and measures of attractiveness, created for this study. The main aim was reached by the realization of detailed aims within the framework of which: the notion of a city park in the aspect of the public space was defined; indicators, measures and rules of the assessment were also worked out. The selection of evaluated elements of the space was made based on findings of inquiry carried out among users of the analyzed park space. For the purpose of the simplification of the assessment of the park, it was divided on 9 basic fields.
