Reduction of flood wave on the Kaczawa River by the dry reservoir „Rzymówka”

Summary/Abstract: This work concerns estimation of the peak flow reduction degree through a designed dry reservoir Rzymówka. on the Kaczawa River. It was assumed, that water management on this tank will be carried out automatically, and during passage of the reliable flow will be carried out by the bottom outlets. For these conditions parameters of the bottom outlets opening have been estimated. Transformation calculations of the hypothetical waves: reliable Qm, control Qk and Q1% were carried out by means of the method Puls. From calculations it results, that the reduction analysed waves is suitably on level 53%, 22% and 41%.
