Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article. Identify the peculiarities of international cooperation of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Universal Scientific Library. I. Franko. Methodology. Methodological basis of the research is general scientific methods such as: historical (formation of historiography, acquaintance with materials of scientists, researching related subjects), analysis and synthesis (helped to achieve the research goal and search for peculiarities of development of international cooperation of public libraries of Ukraine), induction and generalization ( allowed to form conclusions), particular methods: monitoring (for the formation of a sample of materials). The scientific novelty is that an attempt has been made to determine the peculiarities of international cooperation of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Universal Scientific Library. I. Franko, which promotes the establishment of cultural ties between Ukraine and the world community.
