Summary/Abstract: The article is a discussion of Witold Gombrowicz's comments on structuralism. The author analyzes the rhetorical strategies of the writer used in the interview I Was the First Structuralist. He also considers the possibility of interpreting Gombrowicz's texts using structural tools.
