Summary/Abstract: The article examines the feasibility and the possibility of «the language of sociology» usage in jurisprudence. It is proved that «the language of sociology» not only promotes the implementation of the methodological function of law, but actively supports «the spirit of law» in the studying of social processes. It is emphasized that the coexistence in the modern society of two systems of norms - social legal and social non-legal - requires the search for differentiation criteria. As such criteria, it is proposed to use the criterion of coercion and the criterion of the consideration procedure.
