How did „Stories of the Good Fairy“ come about?

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the analysis in this paper is a book for a children “Stories of the Good Fairy” by the writer from the Gračanica, Lejla Kadić. In pointing to the state of the art in Bosnian literature, one tires to point out the importance of children’s creativity, wich is not a very common occurrence. The collection of poetry “Stories of the Good Fairy”is tematically and stylistically close to children up to ten years old, but also to all those who, from the perspective of the children’s world, strive to look at everyday life and motives that are characteristic of growing up, discovering nature and society. The whole collection is characteized by a sense of rhythm and melody that make the songs memorable and attractive to children. The apperance of the writer Kadić is a unique occurrence in the local literary scene, but also in the wider context in which her style and manner of desining the written materal stood out.
