Summary/Abstract: The works written in an encyclopedic style are of great importance in terms of showing the scientific level of the period they were written and bringing together the practical information needed by their interlocutors. It is obvious that these kinds of works are valuable data sources both in terms of revealing the author's knowledge of various branches of science and in determining the accumulation of knowledge needed by the beneficiaries. One of these works written in the early period in the Islamic world is the original work of Mohammad b. Ahmad al-Khwarizmî (d. 387-997), who came to our day as the only work of the author and left behind his fame and author. In this study, the approach of Khwarizmî to philosophy and philosophical sciences will be examined in his work which brings together the information needed by his colleagues as a bureaucrat. The plan of the study is based on the titles of the chapter that the author devotes to philosophy in his work.
