ACTUALIZATION OF THE CULTURAL HERITAGE AS A RESOURCE FOR THE MODERNIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT TOURIST DESTINATIONS

Summary/Abstract: Purpose of the article: description of factors influencing cultural heritage on the development of tourist destinations of individual regions. Methodology of the research is based on the structural - functional approach with the application of the principles of socio - cultural and system analysis. Scientific novelty of the work is that for the first time a comprehensive analysis of modern literature on the subject was carried out, which testified about the significant potential of the cultural heritage from the point of its attraction for tourist use and the creation of new objects of tourist routes and the need to determine the direction of potential positioning of individual tourist centers and measures to support the tourist destinations of Ukraine's regions by means of cultural heritage.
