Media – Education – Culture. In the direction of media education – a report from the conference

Summary/Abstract: The article is a report from the conference „Media a edukacja” that has been organized by Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan for 14 years. The speakers are focusing on such topics as the connections of media and information technology with education (in broad meaning). This year’s, seventh conference, which was held from 5 to 6 October 2012, was of particularly ceremonial character as it was joined with the celebrations of the seventieth birthday and forty-five years of academic work of professor Wacław Strykowski.
