Summary/Abstract: This work focuses on studying the importance of role-playing in teaching-learning French as a foreign language in Algeria. We seek to understand how role playing improves oral play in primary school puts learners in a similar situation of interaction. To address this issue, we have included our subject matter of study in the field of French as a foreign language didactics, a discipline that questions class practices in their complexity. Using the experimental method, we observed and analyzed oral dialogues conducted in response to three situations of communication.
