Summary/Abstract: In this article a case of the Huawei Technologies has been described. This Chinese equipment manufacturer from an emerging market in just a twenty years has grown into one of the global ICT leaders. In addition to autor’s research conducted in years 2009–2012, the results of other studies, as well as various source materials have been considered (reports, press releases, corporate websites), as well as data gathered from SDC Platinum database. The case of Huawei shows the development in two directions: geographical and multisectoral. In this case, cooperation strategy significantly supports the firm’s evolution. Consistently with this strategy, also internal processes, structures, and organizational culture have been developed.
