Summary/Abstract: The potential of people is essential to remain competitive in a market economy. At the same time, global competition and changes in economic conditions are such that there is a need to make redundancies. This situation requires taking a number of actions to shield against the adverse effects of laid-off workers. In 2003 and 2004 the legislature passed a law obliging employers to take action for curtain. In the framework of this activity there are activities related to help finding new jobs or take an independent economic activity. The organizational side for implementation of these projects is the responsible employer workers’ release. At the same time, may seek the assistance of outside parties, professionally prepared to provide this kind of service. The essence of the provision of assistance to redundant workers is based on voluntary participation of the concerned and the purpose of this specific aid measures. The proper preparation and implementation of the programme provide for outplacement ultimate success and quality of aid redundant workers.
