Summary/Abstract: The current article aims to briefly explore the manner in which the Romanian legislator chose to behave in regulating companies. Besides the new terminology, the article presents, on the one hand, the deficiencies of the normative process with respect to companies and, on the other hand, the lacks of the normative acts, deriving from the wrong or insufficient understanding of companies by the legislator.
