Ján Kollár in Contact with Serbs and an Outline of the Influence of His Thoughts on Slavic Reciprocity.

Summary/Abstract: This article refers to the relations between Ján Kollár, a prominent representative of Slovak national revival and three Serbian scholars with whom he was in contact during his work. On this basis, it demonstrates the fact that Kollár‘s ideas of Slavic reciprocity have spread to other Slavic nations, in this case Serbia and it has also reached the pages of their periodicals. Thanks to that, it is possible to assess its influence on the cultural and social life of this nation.
