Summary/Abstract: François and Cécile buy a riad in Marrakech. To their astonishment, they discover Massouda who, to clear the place, demands the return of his son Tayeb. The couple seeks help from neighbor Mansour. This one gives them a memory in which the life of the son of Massouda covers a large part of the common history of Morocco and France going from the Protectorate to the Second World War.
