Comparison has been carried out according to such parameters as prepostmodern complex, transitive cultural tradition, chronology and reasons of emergence of first postmodern texts, connection with leading national literature currents – modernism, realism, baroque and gothic. Key distinctive features of east-Slavic and west-Slavic versions are: the process of appearance of the latest paradigm in national literature, relations between postmodernism and modernism, style modifications of traditional prose genres, various perception of west-European literature influence.
