Summary/Abstract: Our aim is to relate criteria for quality assessment in translation to micro elements. Punctuation in Arno Schmidt seems to be a good bet as, with him, this supposedly formal element is instrumental in constituting the sense of a text to a degree far beyond standard state-of-the-art routine.
