Summary/Abstract: This paper starts from the observation that there are strong stereotypes about the different ages of man. And old age is surrounded by many negative stereotypes. But, there are also societies who put good use on the old age which is recognized as the most important age of all. The perception about the inevitability of the own death is one of the most complex physiological, psychological and philosophical experience that facing human.
