Summary/Abstract: Motivating employees with different cultures dedicated to professional activities and oriented to achieving the mission of the organization represents one of the key challenges of managers of all levels. The sources of motivation are not unique, durable and permanent, but the motivation is vital for success, representing the determinant element in the process of each individual’s development. On the other hand, the term “multicultural” represents an explanatory variable which, currently, refers to diversity (variety, multiplicity, complexity). Starting in the 80s, we observe a special interest for multicultural approaches, the recognition of cultural diversity and the need to consider the specific cultural values imposing in the current managerial strategy. The advantage of a good manager is the understanding of how the cultural differences inspire organizational excellence, in the case of motivating management considering the features of management when the contact between several cultures takes place.
