Summary/Abstract: In this study, Carol I Mosque which is situated in Constanța district will be introduced. This mosque, which was built in 1913 with the contributions of Carol I and the Ottoman Empire, differs from the Ottoman mosques in terms of both its plan and adornment characteristics. Although the mosque was built with the techniques of modern architecture, it has the importance of having the main features of Ottoman mosque architecture. Analysing the plan, material and ornaments of the mosque in detail, this study aims to present all features of the mosque by comparing it with other mosques both in Anatolia and in Romania.
