Summary/Abstract: Philosophical and ethical structure of Nikolic’s films created in the form of conceptual iterations is largely imbued by mythical stories, customary and traditional norms that are closely associated with them. The obedient acceptance of authoritarian recipes which reduce film and its truth to vulgar ideological substitute, both destroying its philosophical conception and confirming the quasi-cultural and bureaucratic values, according to Nikolic, as critical and liberal artist, was distant and unacceptable. In order to show his projected vision of the world and its philosophical and ethical attitude towards it, the artist, as Nikolic sees him, must have absolute and uncensored freedom of artistic decisiveness.
