Renewable energy sector in the European Union – classification in the light of change management strategy

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is the classification of renewable energy sources sector across the European Union (EU), into the class with similar characteristics, providing the ability to isolate countries with major influence on the success of renewable energy sources and the change management strategy. In the studies carried out in the article cluster analysis method was used. This method allowed to obtain a homogeneous group of countries under study, in which directed action containing a set of appropriate support instruments can be adopted, not in an individual way for each country, but on selected groups of countries.
