Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article: to consider and classify selected modern foreign methods, systems and training schools for the trumpeter, among them as purely technical (A.Wise, C.Hunt, R.Quinque), and complex, primarily aimed at mental adjustments (A. Sandoval, V. Cichovich, W. Guggenberger). This seemed particularly relevant in the context of increasing interest as a solo performance on the pipe as a whole, and the newest systems that significantly expand the traditional capabilities of the performer. Methodology. The research methodology is based on the use of the following methods: historical - in identifying the prerequisites of modern musical and pedagogical systems for teaching wind instruments, comparative - in comparing different approaches to interpretation and principles of vocational training on the trumpet, analytical - in clarifying the main elements of the presented systems. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the inclusion in the musicological and musical-pedagogical compendium of Ukrainian science of a whole complex of the unknown in Ukrainian language systems for training the performer on wind instruments. Conclusions. Summing up, having considered the basic methods, systems, and schools of modern trumpet playing in the world, we single out several key trends. Some of them are aimed at the maximum technical improvement of the performer. Ways to achieve technical excellence mainly lead to the development and strengthening of ear cushions. All the above analyzed recommendations can be used in an exploratory manner in daily work in the classes of Ukrainian teachers, choosing those that will best fit both the already developed individual teacher system and the characteristics of individual students.
