Threats for the security of information and knowledge in the organisation

Summary/Abstract: Decision making is closely connected to actions, which force the decision-maker to choose certain actions from many possible ones. While choosing one of the possible solutions, the decision-maker should have a knowledge regarding the risks connected with the choice, which in turn infl uences the rationality of decisions being made, The state of insecurity is strictly connected with obtained information, which has an effect on the level of knowledge of the organisation. Due to lack of any universal solutions which would allow for an effective implementation of tasks, the management is forced to search for information which would allow to move freely in the internal and external environment of the organisation. Moreover, the management should be aware of the threats for both the information and the knowledge, where the first is a strategic mean influencing the importance of the knowledge
