Summary/Abstract: Psychodynamically focused author is examining current findings in neuropsychology and neuropsychotherapy and outlines their practical applications. The study of the brain points not only to the limits of changes during psychotherapy, but also opens new horizons. In essence, neurophysiological findings confirm the justification of the psychodynamic approach to psychotherapy, which emphasizes new emotional experiences. In the second half of his paper, the author describes this interactive and intersubjective process and its typical drawbacks.
