Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to analyze the peculiarities of attracting various vocal singing patterns in contemporary jazz projects and the allocation of specific features that should be possessed by performers. The methodology of the research is related to the use of comparative and analytical approaches aimed at highlighting the peculiarities of using different vocal forms in the performing arts of Ukrainian artists. Scientific novelty. For the first time in the national scientific discourse, the ways of combining various singing manners in the context of the work of contemporary Ukrainian vocalists - A. Dolidze and N.Shuyaeva have been outlined. The synthesis of folk and pop vocal manner is extremely relevant in projects aimed at the revival of folk traditions, such as those using ringtones and typical intonation turns, folk instruments related to different ethnic cultures. Conclusions. The use of different vocal manners - variety, jazz, and folk - is one of the perspective directions of development of the national vocal performance. The versatility of singers, who can use different vocal manners, makes it possible to be actively involved in contemporary musical culture. Among the singers who work in the domestic space are the outstanding achievements of Aniko Dolidze, which combines folk and jazz singing style in projects aimed at combining elements of Ukrainian and Georgian folklore in jazz compositions. Nazgul Shukaeva is a vocalist who uses Tuvinian throat singing, academic and jazz vocal techniques in her projects, framing all this in the ethnic-jazz context.
