Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to determine the specifics of innovative principles of vocal education O. Blagovidova and their influence on the formation and development of the Ukrainian national vocal school. Methodology. Scientific provisions of the research are based on the totality of general scientific methods of scientific knowledge and musicological and art methodological approaches. Comparative, theoretical, cognitive, systemic and historical-biographical principles and methods are applied. Scientific novelty. The vocal and technological principles of the school of О. Blagovidova are studied in the context of the evolution of Ukrainian vocal art; analyzed cultural, psychological and musical pedagogical origins of the formation of personality О. Blagovidova and methodological guidelines, formed on the basis of the creative experience of the teacher-performer; The pedagogical principles and methods of teaching a vocal school of O. Blagovidova are determined. Conclusions. The innovative principles of the vocal school of O. Blagovidova were formed on the basis of the best traditions of Italian, Russian and Russian vocal art, rich performing experience, individual style, psychological and pedagogical qualities, as well as an extraordinary outlook and understanding the specifics of solo performing skills. The talented teacher was able to summarize the existing and develop on their basis their own unique methodological guidelines in accordance with the needs of the performing practice of the Ukrainian national school of academic singing. Based on the analysis of the methodology and principles of the vocal school of O. Blagovidova, we can state that its main postulates are priorities in the national academic vocal school of the 21st century.
