THE PROFESSION OF SOCIAL WORKER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

Summary/Abstract: The International Federation of Social Workers has declared that social assistance is a profession in the field of human rights. This article aims to present the profession of social worker by sociologists and professionals at national and international level. Through these contributions, it was possible to examine the compatibility of the principles and the implementation of the actions by social workers and professional organizations by adopting and observing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
