Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to economic development, which is noticeable in the WestPomeranian Voivodeship and the Podkarpackie Province. For comparison, voivodships have been deliberately selected which have other geographic and economic geographies affecting economic development. The assessment of the economic potential was based on income from personal income tax and corporate income tax.
