Summary/Abstract: There is a large volume of published studies describing the key role of social intelligence. This domain includes an awareness of interpersonal situations and the social dynamics that govern them, and a knowledge of interaction strategies that can help a person achieve his or her objectives in dealing with others. Several attempts have been made to identify and measure the dimensions of social intelligence. As H. Gardner states in his well-known book, Frames of Mind, “The capacity to know oneself and to know others is an inalienable a part of the human condition as is the capacity to know objects or sounds, and it deserves to be investigated...”. Thus, our paper is an attempt to introduce educators and psychologists into the conceptual and empirical universe of social intelligence.
