Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present a demonstration of therapeutic work with a client in the model of Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy (STST) in the context of the 3 month addiction treatment in a psychiatric hospital. The first part of this paper outlines philosophy of STST. The author also thinks about specifics of the therapy in the model of STST. The second part presents a selection of therapeutic work of 10 individual sessions. The work and changes in client „glacier“ are described in detail. The work outlines family maps of primary and immediate family. Other used methods, their effect and also homeworks are further mentioned. The paper is also enriched by client’s family maps.
