Summary/Abstract: The paper is devoted to the first Russian edition of a volume of selected articles by Miroslav Červenka (Smysl i stich, 2011). The authors discuss Červenka’s works on the theory and history of verse, poetics, and the semiotics of culture, and draw attention to the particularities of the reception of the ideas in the Russian, Czech, and international contexts.
