Evolution, adaptability, wisdom. Are civil partnerships an alternative to marriage?

Summary/Abstract: In most European countries, we have recently noticed a significant amendment both of their national legislation referring to the family relationships, and of the specific legislation of private international law. Starting from the amendment of the classic concept of family, from the acknowledgment and regulation of the cohabitation, of civil partnerships and examining the proposals for the amendment of the Romanian legal framework in the context of globalization of the legislation at the European and international level, in order to cope with the new sociological realities, we are asking the questions: Is Romania prepared for this kind of change? Is it possible for the Romanian society to patiently and wisely adapt to the new philosophical and legal concepts which are more and more numerous and persuasive becoming dominant in Europe?
