Summary/Abstract: The Bloomberg Center building in New York was designed by Thom’s Mayne team, Morphosis. It is a unique building, closely connected with the development plan developed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill, awarded many times due to its original technological and engineering solutions which also translates into exceptional architectural quality. The dialogue with nature performed by Morphosis is a new architecture expressed in the language of high engineering strictly subordinated to the idea of protecting environmental resources, indicating the close connection of human with the earthly environment necessary for his existence.
