Elasticity of Stretch Textile Fabrics

Summary/Abstract: The behaviour of stretch textile fabrics during their manufacturing and wearing can be described using their elasticity feature. The aim of this paper was to research such elasticity characteristics as elongation, bending, shear characteristics, which depend on the thickness of fabrics, surface density and other properties. It was established that elasticity of chosen textile fabrics depends on the way of their manufacturing, structure and cutting direction of specimens. The elasticity feature was mainly expressed in fabrics M 5, M 7 and M 9, their curves fence in the smallest areas in mobility chart.
