Elvira Dones is one of the authors pertaining to contemporary literature that treats and presents the mentality of society in relation to Albanian women. Elvira Dones's novels carry a strong message-with an attractive story, a somewhat rude realism and characters characterized by psychological situations. The woman's character becomes a symbol, which is transformed into important images. She sheds further light upon the universal conflict which is already fixed in a particular reality.
