Summary/Abstract: This research shows the organizational aspects of a family company based on qualitative methodology, in order to recognize complex elements of its nature and its dynamics, from examining the economic, political, cultural and symbolic context that woven give life to an organization and a family establishes certain organizational practices that impact on their routines and operational forces from the external environment that disrupts until the affections that intersect to give a specific dynamic, where money, work and power are subject to social imaginary, power structures, institutions, and relationships of the different organizational actors that find expression in organizational performance. For which this paper is divided into three sections; 1) the dynamics of family business which explores the relationship between money, work and tensions are interwoven; 2) the family business as a field that investigates the case study being conducted for the dissertation and; 3) reflections are based on the revised materials to account for the complexity of the nature of the family business.
