Summary/Abstract: The circulation of the securities needs a solution to increase the security of transfers of shares outside the stock market. The submitted proposals concern the registration of transfers with the trade registry too, in addition to the registration with the register of the shareholders held by the company or the use of the financial services of the central securities depository (CDS) acting on the capital market. The first solution is conservative and bureaucratic. The stock exchange solution is confirmed by capital market operations. The newest approach concerns the use of blockchain (DEEP in french acronym) technology for registering transfer of securities. Blockchain technology is an attractive alternative to replacing „trusted people” with IT technical solutions. Securities have the ability to „encapsulate” value, alike cryptocurrencies, with the advantage of economic connection with issuers. We can see the perfect symbiosis of the two notions: shares and cryptocurrencies. Their result, based on the blockchain technology, may be the currency of the future.
