Summary/Abstract: The entry into force and the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) forced public and private sector controllers to adapt and comply with their activity in order to avoid the particularly severe sanctions regime that the European law act instituted it. However, there are still controllers, which do not comply with the provisions of the regulation or their legal obligations. In this context in which the national supervisory authority has published information on the corrective measures applied, and a part of them concerns the owners' associations, we analyse the causes of the application of corrective measures and create their consequences for the sanctioned operators and for the subsequent, correct, uniform and coherent application of the regulation.
