Summary/Abstract: The construction contract for works is the agreement of wills between two or more parties in which the part called an entrepreneur undertakes that at his own risk to perform a certain work for the other party called the beneficiary who, according to the law, requires construction permit in exchange of a price. Even from the definition of this contract, it may be noted that it takes some time to fulfill the contractual obligation, so in this way we present this duration as the term of execution of the contract; if the parties stipulate that this action must be carried out within a certain time frame, it acquires the term of execution of the contract.Although sometimes the term of execution of the contract overlaps with the duration of its effects, we understand that the two are distinct notions but depend on each other. Thus, the duration of the effects of the contract encompasses the entire period of time during which the parties can rely on the rights and obligations arising from the contract and the term of execution of the contract takes into account the responsibility of the entrepreneur to complete the work during the contractual period.
