Summary/Abstract: One of the most important components of education is represented by non-formal one. According with pedagogical literature, it is that of education which is organized by schools or other different educational agents by different extracurricular activities. The main differences between formal and non-formal education is represented by more relax characteristics of the second one, which means that non-formal education can be made in different “non-conventional” spaces, in more leisure atmosphere and using some specific strategies la games, competitions, group-working, workshops and so one. But there is a lot of similarities between those two forms of education, especially regarding their methodology. Therefore, in the present theoretically study, we are planning to analyze the specific methodology of non-formal education, insisting on its educational objectives, principles, content, strategies and forms of organization of extracurricular activities.
