Summary/Abstract: The general knowledge represents the sum of the knowledge that one person has, knowledge that come from various fields, like: art, literature, mathematics, technology and science, economics and politics.How can we use this knowledge?General knowledge makes people feel more confident on themselves, helps them reach higher groups and integrate there.General knowledge of a person can be reached through education, which is the base of a good solid general knowledge and that is being built since primary school. During these school years, learning side by side with a librarian can trigger the love for reading. Reading is an intellectual activity which develops the personality of a child from the cognitive, educative and formative point of view. In order to be able to develop the taste for reading, the teacher finds new different ways to do it, such as: organizing book exhibitions, literary gatherings, contests, meetings with the writers and many others.
