Summary/Abstract: In present article the impact of climate change on the imbalance of economic security for companies in the construction sector will be presented. The concepts of weather risk, which is closely related to the climate changes, will be introduced. To complete the picture, a sensitivity analysis of the construction sector at noncatastrophic weather risk will be included. Weather derivatives as a way of managing weather risk will be indicated.
