Reduce the risk of intellectual capital in the enterprise – a systemic approach

Summary/Abstract: Effective working of modern organizations is considerably determined by a proper recognition, matching and effective usage of Intellectual Capital. The Intellectual Capital is a main factor to increase the value of modern organizations. However, decisions making in the IC area and also the IC management process could generate the main potential of risk and uncertainty. Taking this risk into account the enterprise can significantly increase its chances, not only to maintain but to develop the market share in a long time horizon. The aim of the article is to identify and analyze all types and areas of Intellectual Capital risk occur in enterprises, as well as methods of its optimizing. Finally it presents the systemic model of IC risk management. The article indicates also on factors of IC risks and capabilities of its limiting, we can see in The Capital Group LOTOS.
