Summary/Abstract: According to the full liberalization of the capital account in 2002, Poland opened up its market to foreign capital. Following this opening there was a risk of increased susceptibility of the country to the financial crisis (as evidenced by the real crisis of 2007). The aim of the article is an analysis of selected indicators that define the stability of the inner and outer Polish view of the growing involvement of foreign capital in the Polish economy in the years 2002-2014 and against this background – an indication of the potential risk that accompanies this commitment. Examined in the article indicators show that Poland exceeds the thresholds adopted in the field of external security, which exposes it to liquidity risk. Mitigation of this risk should be here monitoring activities consequences of rising presence of foreign capital in the Polish economy from the point of view of the conditions of its internal and external stability.
