Summary/Abstract: The paper is a contribution to the study of Milan Milišić’s poetics in the context of the poetic features of what he himself denoted as poems for children in the subtitles of two out of the three collections analyzed here. Therefore, we take into consideration the time of the creation of this borderline poetry, i.e. the general poetic context, themes, processes of narration and dramatization, and especially the methods of humoristic singing about the reality and estrangement, i.e. the proportion of fantastic images which even the nature of the refined poetic speech neither abolished or absorbs. Special attention is given to the fact that two of these collections were published and the third supplemented with the material from Milišić’s legacy.
