Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the characteristics of the profiles of participants of triathlon events. The main purpose of the article is to answer the question of who the participants are (gender, age), how much money they spend on accommodation and food during the competition and what their main reasons to take part in the triathlon eventsare. The scientific research was conducted using an online survey - by sending an e-mailto the participants one of the largest triathlon event in Poland - Enea Bydgoszcz Triathlon
