Creation of Elderly People’s Trust for Public Institutions Based on the Example of Social Welfare Centers

Summary/Abstract: Ageing of the populations is an international major problem for many public institutions. It’s very difficult to find a proper solution. Society, especially elderly people, does not trust institutions like social welfare centers. They are afraid of their future life despite new solutions are proposed by Polish government or the European Union. The question is if the people are right. This article was written on the basis of two researches conducted among people who work in public institutions like social welfare centers, because it was interesting point what they knew about elderly people’s life. Institutional assessment regarding the ageing population phenomenon has been recognized as one of the basic factors that will be used for planning and implementation of any projects aimed at improving the situation of elderly people.
